Floor Map

The Emerging Media Initiative is located in a two-story building at the center of the Kakuma Campus next to the Administration Building. The IT Help Desk is located on the second floor of this building, and here we accept questions and inquiries from students and academic staff at any time. There are also two classrooms for holding seminars, a classroom for group work, problem-solving lessons, and shooting videos, and a meeting room.

Seminar Rooms

There are 160 computers for seminars available (80 on both the first and second floors).

Please note that at the end of AY2021, Seminar Room 1 will be turned into a content production studio to advance Kanazawa University’s digital transformation. Please keep this in mind when making lesson plans for AY2022 onward.

AY2021 Second Semester Timetable

Multipurpose Classroom

The Multipurpose Classroom is a classroom for holding group work and problem-solving classes. It was soundproofed in AY2021 and turned into a studio for activities such as filming classes or shooting videos for learning materials.

Preferential treatment is given to classes. However, the Multipurpose Classroom may be used outside of class time for student group work, shooting videos required for classes, or making learning materials.
